Wine tasting is always a really fun event (if you’re 21+, obviously.)
Whenever I go to the liquor store I always feel a bit overwhelmed by the selection. 100 different Merlots, Malbec’s & Cabernet’s from $6-$66 are a little scary…especially since it sort of seems like everyone around you already knows what’s up. I always feel like I forgot to read the memo when it came to purchasing bottles of wine and it’s since been destroyed when I look for one.
With a wine tasting, you get to take out the guess work. You let them know what you like and they suggest/let you taste some special wines they’ve picked out to satiate your palate. WIN. WIN.
Head on over to Vinomania, where they’re experts in wine, and do some taste testing Friday from 4:30-6:30. It’s a free event to go to, although it would be nice if you bought a bottle or two..or three…. Some of the proceeds for the bottles purchased will go towards Vera House! Find out more info from the Facebook event page.
Tip: If you miss this week’s wine tasting check out another one on April 26th to benefit the Kidney Foundation.
