One of my favorite buildings in Armory Square is The MOST. It’s grandness reminds you just how cool Syracuse really is. On any day of the week, you can see families, students, troops, etc… coming and going from this building. BUT, what people don’t realize is that there are events for people of all ages for the MOST. Especially, one of my all-time favorites, Tap into the MOST.
What better way to incorporate a some science into your evening, than to have some hands on fun with a beer at a science museum! This event combines two things you wouldn’t normally associate together; local beers and science! This Saturday April 6th from 6:30 – 9:30 is just the time you can combine the fun learning the MOST provides everyday with your favorite foods, beverages, and live music!
Tap Into the MOST is an annual fundraiser to help the Syracuse Museum of Science and Technology raise money for several of their educational outreach programs. Their goal is to provide hands-on experiences and experiments to make learning basic concepts of math and science fun for children.
The local restaurants participating this year include Empire Brewing Company & Lemon Grass/Bistro Elephant. There will also be bands (like The Baby Boomers Band and Jam Bones) playing around the museum as you wander and play! The beer being poured will be both local and national favorites, stationed throughout the museum.
TIP: Don’t be afraid to let your inner child out for the night and play with all the exhibits! They’re all worth trying out (especially if you haven’t been to the MOST in a few years)! And this event does sell out, so reserve your tickets today!!!
