76. Empire Brunch

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Y’all!

This is the PERFECT day to get out of your house and go downtown, grab something to eat… indulge in a Bloody Mary (or 2…or 3…) grab a cold beer and celebrate!

Which is why I am putting the most celebrated and fun, distinct and delicious brunch on tap today.

Empire Brunch.

If you’ve been to Empire, you know that it is one of the coolest restaurants in the city. It’s got a great menu and supports local initiatives…two major pluses in my book.

I recently went to Empire for brunch with a friend of mine and upon arriving we were greeted with live music from Los Blancos and a massive crowd. The wait for a table at 12:30pm was 2 hours long, whoa. We decided to head to the bar and enjoy some Empire beers. I was surprised & excited the entire time I was there, I did not know something like this existed in Syracuse…which is the total point of this blog, right? Discovering cool things to do here! It’s an understatement when I say this is a really cool thing to do.  It’s a perfect Sunday-Funday activity, the meals that were coming out of the kitchen looked & smelled delicious. My roommate had attended this brunch months ago and she is still talking about it. If you don’t check it out, you’re seriously missing out on something really awesome to do here.

Brunch specials last from 11:30-2:30 with live music from 12:30-2:30

Tip: Get there early! It’s bound to be busy, especially today!
