If you’re familiar with Syracuse, you’re familiar with the Carousel at the Carousel Mall.
Historically, this Carousel is very important to Syracuse. It was originally stationed at Long Branch Park from 1926-1938 and years later, after the park had long been closed, The Pyramid Companies purchased the Carousel refurbished it to it’s original state and placed it in the center of Carousel Mall.
Today, children of all ages ride the Carousel without ever knowing the history behind it, but for the sheer entertainment of a traditional piece of fun. It’s an absolute must-do thing to do in Syracuse, without a doubt.
Tip: From January 14-February 3rd there are free rides on the Carousel.
